Because;
it doesnt show the (inevitable) dirt and brake dust so look like your car is always dirty,
it doesnt attract attention away from the alloy wheel,
it doesnt look too chavvy (you know, ice-white trainers :tongue: )
it lets you put nicer callipers on later and keep them black so people think they are standard
Thats my opinion anyway, and yes mine are black :grin:
