As above really I have today managed to split my exhaust so it looks as though I will require a new system.
Anyone ideas on the best system to fit to a slightly modified 1275gt.
I dont want a loud silly drainpipe thing, I was thinking of maybe a 2" system with centre rear box but which is best?

Regards
Sprintmini.

Have a look at the RC40 range from MiniSpares, used to have a single centre exit exhaust on my old one and it wasn't too loud but made a lovely noise! RC40 gives the "optimum" diameter for power as well!

No I saw a mini today with a twin DTM centre exhaust and that was way too loud for me.

Ah right the RC40, god are they still making that exhaust, I recall that from my early exploits with mini years ago.
Right thats sounds like the kind of thing Im looking for.

Or maniflow. These are all 1.75" exhausts which are what the mini needs. Don't go 2 inch, that's too big.

Is your old exhaust salvageable? I blew a hole in mine and just welded it up!

To be honest I think its only the back box that has taken the hit today,
The remainder of the system should be ok although I only took a quick glance roadside.
Yeah the Maniflow system has had some good reviews.
I only want to go to the 1.75" as like you say any more is going to be a waste on the mini.

RC40 make a side exit 2" DTM exhaust - it's very quiet cruising around, and has a nice roar when you fully floor it. It looks nice too!

for a fairly std 1275, aim for a 1.75" system twin box if you want to keep the noise levels down, RC40 or Maniflow.

Don't waste your money on stainless, I've never had a Mild steel system fail on me.
