That was last winter because I didn't wash it for about a month, lol. Although it did help cover up the banana paint job.

Must be a peugeot thing! When I had my 205 I honestly think it got washed annually at most and I only ever used washing up liquid!!i alway thought my pugeot looked better dirty, looked like a rally car
I like dirty 4x4s! they just look stupid when they're all clean and shiny. When I was in the states this summer we saw a couple of jeep pick-ups in florida that had been spray painted to make it look like they were really muddy!

I think this is just due to the lack and urge of/for a landrover.
Dirty cars look used and abused, how cars should look instead of shiny and hardly used.

Sand, grit, dirt, mud are really good at holding moisture up to your metal.
Needless to say I like my cars squeaky clean!
