Hi All,
The December copy of Mini Magazine arrived in the post today.
They have a great article about three Germans that have made a fantastic genuinely plug and play reprogrammable ECU for our SPi minis!
Keith Calver tested it and it made a near 20% improvement in top end power.
Best of all, it's apparently only going to cost around £400!

So what's the deal with this plug 'n play system?
Does it give a 20% power increase on stock SPI, or does it only benefit on a tuned one?
Looks like a nice piece of kit I would like to have!

it can not give 20% more power with a stock engine. how could it? its not the ecu making the power but the engine.
only if the engine can make more power, like the one in the article with modded head, etc., and the factory ecu is not able to handle it this ecu enables one to get all the power the engine can put out
