Hi,
Has anyone bought a new wiring loom? is it worth doing when restoring a mini?
Mine's a bit of a mess, looks like bits have been cut out and added in all over the place.
I'm considering buying a new one to ensure it's complete and works properly.
Can anyone recomend a supplier for a wiring loom to fit a 1993 Rover Cooper S (SPi)
thanks again!

I boughty myself a brand new loom when i did a resto on my car and my how it made life so simple. It was fitted in the car in the space of 10 minutes and everything was brand new, no messing around trying to get good earth's etc i would really recommend it.
As to where search on the internet for Mini Based Kit car looms, i found a site which sold both front and rear mounted engines and they used the same looms as a mini for £110.
But with yours an Spi you might have to buy direct from a Mini Specilist as im unsure as to what extras there is on the loom for the ecu

Really kind of you but it's a bit of a distance for me to travel. )
Great shout on the AutoSparks! I knew minispares had a bit of a mark-up but that's unreal!
thanks for the help
