if the acount is in my name but i am a named driver on my mums insurance would i still get the discount on the insurance

I think TMF insurance discount only applies if you are a TMF+ member...

But if you are a paid TMF+ menber (which I had assumed you aren't as it doesn't say so under your avatar), I don't see why your mum couldn't give the insurers your membership details to gain the discount.
