Ive had a look around and found this link to a FAQ on tyre sizes but it doesnt help me much unfortunately.

So, my question is, being completely new to all this, what tyres can i fit to my 10x6 J set of Mercury's ?

What do people recommend ?

Can't see how the FAQ is not useful...

That was built after a long protracted argument about wheels and tyres, so we contacted the manufacturers of those 'most commonly used' tyres for a guideline...

The thing is, 165/70x10 tyres will go on a 6" rim... and be perfectly happy, but what you have to look at is your are outside the 'recommended manufactures fitting guide'

Didn't mean to offend, i was merely going by the recommendations of the manufacturer's as listed in the FAQ, and for a 10x6 wheel there isnt a tyre listed is all.

Just wanted to clarify before i go ahead and get a set that might not be suitable
