Hello. This is a problem I have in the car I just bought for a winter hack which is not a mini. It has a laserline 996 alarm and imob. The one remote that it has is dead and it's not the battery so that's out of the equation. It also has one of those dash touch key jobs. This is fine to operate the alarm and imob. But when I lock the car using the key after about 5 - 10 minutes the alarm will go off on it's own. I think there is a prob with the central locking side of things cause if I leave the car unlocked it doen't go off.
Now the question I have is, does any one use one of these alarms? If so has anyone got any kinda wiring diagram or user manual. Also has anyone got any other ideas as to why this dam alarm keeps going off. I did think it was to do with one of the ultrasonic sensors as it was hanging down but fixed this and it still goes off. If anything I want to just kill the alarm off and just use the imob. Any help with this would be most appreciated as I don't want to keep anouying the neighbours with it going off all the time when I get it home.
