ok i found this mini owners workshop manual at a local carboot sale and it has loads of diagrams and info so in this post i will be showing loads of diagrams and " carb operating princaples, routine maintanace & slow running, dismantaling, re-assembly & jet centralizing, exhaust emission control, carb tuning & air cleaners, routine maintanance

the pics should be in order if not let me know!

<several pictures removed. If anyone wants them they were from Autobooks No 777, Mini. Haynes also publish a specific SU workshop manual as do Burlen Fuel Systems. The information is also in all Haynes manuals concerning the Mini and the genuine BMC / BL / Rover workshop manuals>

sorry if there abit dark (my phone has an over-dramatic flash!)

They are also a tad too Copyrighted and the property of Autobooks. I'm removing them. If I can identify the book you got them from just from the page layout and the page numbers that these pictures were on you can bet the publisher can also.

Please read the forum rules and this thread.

There's a reason you won't find stuff like this on our forum. We all have these books and could scan them in if we wanted to but we want this forum to be legal so that it can stay open for us all to use. Adding odd pictures from a manual here or there is acceptable, mainly because the pictures are generally originally the property of BMC / BL / Rover, are very old and directly related to our forum. Scanning whole chapters of manuals however is not really on. Also, the procedures for setting up and tuning SU carbs have been entered here by hand by myself and others many hundreds of times in the past.

I'm sorry but I feel I must remove these photos. If you wish to keep hosting them on Photobucket that's up to you, I'm sure people can PM you for details of where they can be found.
