hey all. just a quick question about wiring up a rocker switch. there are two spade connecters either side of the switch and two prongs sticking out the back of the switch.
im just wondering what goes on the prongs and what goes on the spades. ive been told to have a power sorce from the fuse box in the engine bay to the switch and then wire the switch to the boot lamp im wiring up.

cheers, phil

The two spades on the side are normally the illumination for the switch..

negative to one terminal, then a positive from the switched prong, thats the prong that is live once you switch it.

So you want a live feed onto one prong, then the other prong the wire going to whatever you are powering with it, plus a wire from that prong to one of the spade connectors.
