Today is Thanksgiving Day in the U.S. For those of you not familiar with this tradition it is perhaps the best and least commercialized U.S. holiday. It is a time to pause from work, gather with family, cook way too much food, eat, and sit around and watch sports on TV. The lack of commercialization and the focus on giving thanks as a family makes the day wonderful and unique.
We're baking pies and making casseroles this morning for an afternoon meal with my in-laws. I hope that each of you has an opportunity this holiday season to share pleasant times with your families and I wish each of you the best!
