Hi,

I bought 3 new gauges which are frosted over and then when powered up they turn clear so that you can see the dials.

I have wired then to the dash lights as needed so that when the headlights are turned on the gauges light up.

Each gauge also needs a switched 12v which i thought would turn the gauges clear when the ignition was on for during the day when the lights are not on.

This isnt the case, am i mistaken and need to wire them up differently????
