I'm gonna be spray painting my metro alloy rocker cover, just wandering if anyone has and tip and pointers about prepping it and if i have to use any special paint?

When I did mine I degreased it first, then abraded it with wet and dry, then pannel wiped it, then tak ragged it, now time to get the etch primer on most
important this if you don't use etch it will flake off, then prime it,then rub it with 800 wet and dry till smooth then top coat it job done.

I just sanded mine down with a flap drill bit...thing? Then used a can of Plasti-cote paint on it..
