just a little update..

my last order arrived from MINISPARES..
i can say i am very pleased with their service.. the package arrived in 3 days (as they promised). Not like MINISPORT, who say 3 days and means 3 months

anw, here is what i got for the mini..



mini is still in the bodyshop. I will probably go today and see the progress, so i may take some pics

KAD quickshift is now fitted..



I was very suprised of the very short distance between gears !!

I was going to buy one of those cheap quickshifts but after some reading on here, those are crap. So i got the KAD one.. quality is top and all fit great. It make difference, especialy with the reverse gear (using the alloy collar on it). Of course i have not tested it on the car, but gears are close to each other

they are expensive i can say, but they worth it (especialy if you have bucket seats and you have limited room like me)
I had a Youtube video link somewhere saved with one of those on a Mini but cannot find it now.. i will post it if i find it

Finally, my metro engine arrived today with some used rear lights i had to get... pics:







.. and yes I was unlucky again.. It seems that the engine fell down somewhere while shipping, and cover, coil, and some other parts are broken now

Could the fall make any problems to the engine at all? I guess it was a strong hit!

Argh man we Cypriots are all too unlucky I hope your engine is fine
