Anybody got an old old S or T reg. I think that was a bad year for steel because there was a scrapy round Warrington that had an absolute load of them and not many others :blink:

hmm well mines a P (96), was ok when I bought it but now it is starting to look a bit ******* as I use it a lot, and not garaged :/

To be honest, if you want a mini with less rust, getn one made before 1985 ish... the best ones are the 70's... must be something to do with the cheap metal rover used...

Totally agree with this too!!!

My first mini was a 1976 850 which was absolute immaculats, never had a new panel. Unfortunately it was written off, i kept it in my garden for 1 1/2 years before i got rid of her (couldn't bear to part with her :gimme: ) but when i did let her go there was hardly any rust on her!!!

My mini is a 1991, and for the past 6 months i have also been shocked to see it rust the way it does!!

next year i plan to get it done...everytime i look i fight myself to look away!! :nugget: Breaking my heart, and my bank... :gimme:
