Well i finally got started on Nini today , Ive managed to get the interior stripped out , the sports pack arches off and all the other odds and sods ! Ill have to remove the enginge and windows when i get her round to the garage . Ive found 2 little holes 1 on the n/s floor and 1 on the o/s inner cill Other than that no rot at all ! Ive had a good look around the car and i have come to the conclusion that its silly stripping out the subframes as they are mint , the main thing that needs sorting is a serious brake overhaul and a new steering rack ! Ill keep you updated on the progress .

Day 3
Got Nini round to the garage and got a good start ! The windows are all out and the complete interior doors off so is the bonnet and boot lid , spent all day yesterday treating the rust round the gutters ( Real hard graft but got there ) Tommorow replace the n/s A pannel not through rot but twisted ! Also weld 2 small plates to the n/s floor and o/s inner cill , Roof is all primed up so is the boot lid and back end , stoned chipped the front and rear valance and inner boot ! Lost out on the interior we had hoped for on ebay it just went a little too far so if anyone can help we urgently need either a full leather int or half leather monaco style (not mini 30) Hope to post some more pics tommorow

Day 4
Flatted off the roof and doors ect ,stone chipped cills , rear subframe and inner arches . Primed up rear quarters and inside of doors . She is really starting to take place . Nevr got got chance to get the welding done but defo tommorow thats a must as if all goes well i think Sunday will be a nice day for painting the roof and arches i promise ill take some pics tommorow had too much on my mind to get batteries for cam :lol:

Day 5
Had a good day today got the floor welded and a panel fitted , Things going good nothing much to report on apart from this is bloody hard work :lol:

I wish it was :sad: ! There was a few changes that i had in mind ! As Lisa my girlfriend passed her test quicker than was expected i have not the time to take out the engine and dont have the time to get the other mods done ! But i can assure you all it will turn out nice :wink:

Ps if any one has a sports steering rack for sale pm me asap !

And what a good start to the day it is :grin: Had an email this morning from someone selling a full leather trim in cream got the full set inc carpets for a bargin and is getting delivered tonight by courier hows that for perfect timing ? :grin: Nothing else to report on as i cant do anything today work calls :sad:

Day 7

Another good day in the garage managed to get the inside of the bonnet , boot lid , cills and front and back valances top coated colour is stunning !!!!!!! Monday should have the roof painted and the arches only leavingthe rest of the car on Tuesday !!!!!! Then its just a case of boxing her all up :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin: :grin:
