Hi
for a mini vented conversion using the metro brake bits, you have to use a metro drive flange. is this because the disc-to-flange bolt pcd is different between the two? if so does anyone know measurements of the pcd on the disc for the two different discs metro and mini?
hope that's clear enough
Rob

Vented discs are thicker, the flange compensates. PCD is the same on all Minis and A series engined Metros, though metros have more inset wheels generally.

PCD the same but holes are slightly bigger for the M10 bolts, you can use mini drive flanges on the metro vented discs, but you have to drill out the drive flange bolt holes to 10mm and use cap head bolts, and remove about 1mm from the inside of the vented disk as it touches the wheel bearing grease seal.

The vented non vented main difference is that the vented pulls the disc away from the hum about 20mm to allow the wider disc to fit with out rubbing

i suppose that is why when i used mini flanges i had to fit spacers with longer studs on the calipers.
