Hiya guys, i currently have a Mini Thirty 1989, with standard engine, been checking out all the tuning kits, with the stage 2 kit for a 988cc engine, would i need to install a catalyic convertor to it? or can it just run as normal? and any idea how much it would increase my insurance as im only 18 but i will have completed 1 years no claims (fingers crossed) lol

Yours won't need a cat as its pre ~1994.
As for insurance - no idea. Ring up your insurance company and ask. They probably won't quote you though because of your age.
