Description of problem (please be as in depth as possible):
Hi all, bit strange really a while ago the full beam just on the passenger side stopped working but is fine on driver side. Side lights and dipped are fine on both sides.
I thought it may be the sealed beam unit so I got myself some halogen lamps so i could actually see at night in the rain haha. I fitted them fine yesterday but still having the same problem and I have no idea where to look to resolve this?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Sounds like you have a corroded bullet connector in the wiring behind the grille, just follow the wires until you come to a joint, pull it apart, clean it and you should be OK. You can buy some anti-corrosion stuff (can't remember the name) in a tube which should stop it happening again.
Cheers,
Pete.

The main feed goes onto the front drivers side. It is then essentially 'daisy chained' from the driver side to the passengers side. This means, if a fuse blows from your fusebox, BOTH lamps will not work.
Id use a multimeter and check for continuity between both lamps (drivers side and passengers). You will probably find one of the feeds is open circuit. Then just trace the wire.
Those crappy bullet connectors have given me problems before - clever place to mount them - behind the front grille.

Where abouts under the dash please. i'm still having problems with my lights, which all being well, I'll get sorted tomorrow.
Thanks.
Matt.
He's referring to the in-line fuses that are positioned behind the air filter on the engine bulkhead.
