My latest project is trying to resurrect a 1971 pinball machine (KLONDIKE)
My mate has just got me a users manual from the states; I was hoping for it to be a repair manual with a wiring diagram too but no such luck.
I bought it for the wife for Christmas as she has always wanted one, I’ve got it half working and now I have a users manual I might be able to sort the rest of the problems out in time for crimbo. If not she will understand and only beat me just the once.
I’ll get some graphs up soon of how it’s going, at least it will keep me out of mischief until the insurance is sorted on the mini?

Brilliant, my friend at work used to have one of these machines when she was 18.
can't wait to see photos of it.

It's been a while but here are some graphs of the pinball i looked at the obvious
first like bad solder joints and points not making contact
There are lots of bits inside these things and if one part aint telling something
else the right message much fun persues in finding the problem
The wiring is a nightmare to try and follow as well

I think the main problem now is getting it to reset to zero for a new game as i've got
most the other bits working, then i need to get all the new rubbers for the flippers and things
