Has anybody got any pictures of the following steering wheel in there cars?

http://www.moto-lita...1.aspx?WH_ID=39

Reason I ask is the very few pictures I have found on the steering wheel look as though the wood is a different colour and am not sure if it will match my wooden dashboard or not.
Heres the dashboard I'm hoping it would look ok with.

Any help would be muchly appreciated.
I'm in love with this steering wheel ;D

I fitted a Mota-Lita in our woody estate....

That is a Mota Lita, but not a John Cooper one, although i would imagine there is little difference. I would expect the wood to vary from wheel to wheel, so its very hard to judge whether it would match properly or not.....

I can confirm apart from the signature there is naff all difference. What is strange though is the actual woods used, some are laminates, some solid, some dark coloured and some light. But no where I have seen them for sale has there been any choice. This is the Coo0per one by the way not the standard Motolita

It dose seem a bit strange that there is no consistency so I suppose it's a case of pot luck on what the finished product you get is because I'm guessing they are hand made.

Thanks for the posts guys, will do some serious consideration now before splashing the cash. ;D

anyone know where i can get the plastic, or an aluminium or even a wooden trim peice/boss for the centre of a steering wheel. i think mine is a different make but they are all pretty similar arnt they?

The centre of our one is a chrome ashtray, if i remember correctly, with a Sterling silver Toad stuck on it....

Its amazing what you can make fit, with a bit of imagination....

no there is consistency, you get what you ask for. The dish angle, holes or slots, diameter, walnut or mahogany etc can be customized, you just choose what you want.
That amount of choices makes the second hand market look unorganized.

Oh right I knew you could choose the finish on the boss and the spoke design but I couldn't find a option for the type of wood. Maybe I should take a closer look at there website.
Thanks for letting me know.
