Hi guys and girls. After much deliberation I have decided I want to take the turbo route with my mini project but at the same time I am funding it hard to find a turbo engine as a good base to work from for a good price. I stumbled upon this advert on ebay a couple of weeks ago and it has since been on there a couple of times.

As you can see this is just the Turbo, exhaust manifold and elbow. Now I know there are always loads of questions similar to this but I have been reading up on here, turbominis.co.uk and Pete's site (turbo-mini.co.uk)so have a basic understanding of what is needed to turbo charge an engine, but I do have a few questions that relate a little more specifically to my needs and that I understand so far.

At present I only have a 998 so will be looking to buy a 1275 to strip down and rebuild at the same time as turbo charging it, So if I was to go about buying this kit from ebay and a 1275 metro engine, it is my under standing I will need the following additional parts:

Bulkhead box
Mpi Fuel tank (or fuel pump and tank with return feed)
A metro turbo carb with plenhum chanber
Metro turbo inlet manifold
Metro turbo oil pump
Fuel pressure regulator
Uprated clutch
Oil cooler

I am then thinking I will need to get the gearbox rebuilt with a xpin diff by someone like Guessworks and get a recon metro turbo head from someone like turbo Pete.

Now is there anything I am missing???
Should I be looking to replace the cam with a metro turbo one, some sort of performance cam or will the standard one be ok?
Distributor wise. Should I be replacing this? I know megajolt is a good idea but are there other options?

Also setup (logistic wise) I think I under stand how this kit fits together and where the air flow goes etc. Please see my pic below for my understanding and Please please correct me if I am wrong.

So the exhaust gasses come into the manifold and in to the turbo chamber where the red dots are.
The exhaust gasses are then released out where the blue dot is. (Now will this link direct to an exhaust system or do I need further parts)
So now the air flow under pressure is sent from the turbo where the green dot is. Now does this go direct to the carb? If I was to fit an intercooler is this where is would be connected? (before the carb)

I really do hope that my understanding is correct and I would really appreciate any advice or further explanations to anything I have wrong here. Any detailed pics showing the back of the engine (carb / turbo) area would be extremely helpful also.

Thanks in advance, and sorry if I appear dumb.
