What was worrying was that the pilot wasn't expecting it to take off

So obviously the plane took off and i understand why. So what if you forced the air back at the plane at the same force? would it still take off?

Surely this wasn't a fair, It's not really a proper conveyor belt is it. Why can't someone just build a massive conveyor belt runway to prove the answer once and for all
