Hi there,
I am looking for a mini friendly bodyshop to carry out some work near(ish) to where I live in Burton on Trent, Derbyshire. Unfortunately I have neglected the car for a couple of years and last bit of work I had done was by some cowboy. I am willing to travel to find the right garage.
I would like to restore my mini to it's former glory so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance,
Mike

Thanks for this, have you used them yourself? Do you know what standard of work they do. I am new to the area so have no experience of anyone locally.

My boyfriend had his Mini van restored by them, but then sold it! The guy did an amazing job, it was gorgeous when he'd finished it.
The work was carried out to a really high standard and he'd done some nice little touches.

I use Central Cars in Loughborough. They are a mechanical-type garage as well, but have a huge spray booth for insurance work etc. If you go there, try to have a look at the guys Austin Healey 3000, he restored it himself! Thats where I take all my classics, and recommend to everyone else too. They also only charge about £25+vat an hour for spannerwork, a bit more for bodywork. HIGHLY recommended, but you need to book in.......

All together, this cost about £6K.
