Hi
i was watching "Salvage Squad" a couple of weeks ago when they were restoring a Morgan 3 Wheeler and was amazed by the finish they acheived with a Brush :o

I still hadnt erased the recording from Sky Plus so just looked at it again and managed to get a close up on the paint can :)
The Company it was mixed by was "Jawel Paints" and it appears to be the Synthetic Enamel they do :o

I know Rustoleum is cheap when bought in standard colours but get it custom mixed and it starts getting nearer the £100 Mark :)

I was Amazed When looking at Jawels Website you can get 5 litres of basic standard of the shelf colours for just £28!!
If you want to give them your Paint Code and have it mixed its £42.55 for 5 litres which is around half the price for the same Rustoleum

I dont know all the ins and outs of the paint, you may not be able to roller it but you can certainly brush it on with amazing results as can be seen on Salvage Squad :o

Just Thought this might be of some use to others?
I May Just Get 5 litres of Flame Red For Boris,i dont know if id paint him completely in it but at that prace it would be handy having Brushable Colour Matched Paint for doing his Floorpans,Engine Bay etc ;)

Gotcha but wouldnt that make 5 litres £110 ? :o

To be honest i dont know all the facts on Jawels paints but thought it was worth posting the link :)

Would be intering to know if you can Roller that too?
It says you can thin it down for Spraying so im guessing it could be rollered too :o

i think rustoleum is the way to go.you can get it in cans for £7 and there very big cans.i did my 4 wheels with 1 can and still got a bit left.
the finish i got was better than any other can of paint ive used.im very impressed with rustoleum.

and they do loads of colours.

Yes but there's no way you need 5 litres of paint. 2.5 litres of Rustoleum does a whole car with some left over.

However in this weather, unless you have a nice heated garage i wouldn't bother, it will take forever to cure.

Anything can be rollered on,... but it depends a lot on the thinners, and whether they're roller friendly...
