Please give your topic a title that quickly describes your problem. Just putting 'Help my Mini doesn't work' is useless to anyone trying to help.

Model: cooper
Year: 1998
Description of problem (please be as in depth as possible):
have had alt belt snapped-just worried about if it is eaasy to replace with new one.
Would love step by step guide if possible---help anyone

Any non-standard parts that might be involved with the problem?

link at top of forum "Need a haynes manual" points to a site with some (basic) step by step instructions... one of which regards the fan belt...
