thanks everyone :w00t: cant wait for malvern! the sliders dont lock.. my mate had a set in his 205 rally car and they lock ... a small split pin on a little bit of chain and a small hole drilled on the bottom slider. worked well.

right .. i havent updated for ages but computer fixed and happy days :(

mini is now on the road and all run in.
had few issues lol .. first time i took it to santa pod for a rwyb to practice and blew it up on third run .... first instead of third is not advised haha

bent all exhaust valves, cracked crank pulley in half and muffed oil pump ... lovely!

got that all sorted ... missed the showdown though :) but made MITP had a real good day but ran with slicks and couldn't get a good start all day .. i am useless with them things haha. figured the slicks on the strip were a safer bet than the 10x7's with stretched 008's as all they do when it comes on cam is throw me all over the road!

knowing that combe was coming up i ditched the coilovers (freeking awfull things) went back to rubber cone suspension on the front and put some 10x4.5's on the car and removed arches.. can actually drive the car fast now with out fear of certain death, wasn't sure at first but its growing on me.

Nice car!

Looks soooo much better on the wide wheels though. What wheels were they?

Also when you say awful coilovers what do you mean? I'm thinking of converting to them as a future mod.

they're force racing wheels :( and carbon weave mig arches. still got them so for shows it can be put back.
i had coil overs and there was just no droop so it tended to try to pick up a wheel and lose traction on 1 wheel when cornering hard. i went back to rubber cone suspension with hi lo's and its a different car to drive.

Hi there, are those carbon miglia arches your running?

If so what wheels have you got (Guessing 10x6?) and are they spacered?

Thanks

yes they're carbon miglia arches .. when they were on the car i was using my force racing wheels .. 10x7'sm .. 10x6's don't look right imo unless you trim the mig arches rite back.

get new outers for force racing wheels in a couple of weeks so they will be 10x5's .. woo hoo no more minilights lol

didn't cut any away .. well i did but only cause i got a flip front, had no issues with them at all (apart from having the 7" wide) looks mega but the torque steer was jus magnified so much and you cant get road tyres to fit the 7"s properly. 6's shouldn't be too bad.
