This looks great but would the strength be compromised?

seam welded and have left top arm / bottom arm / tie rod mounts alone and leave double skined sections alone.. shouldn't have any problem .. did my research on other forums where alot of people are running similar subframes with more power and torque than me without any problems .. once its bolted up and in, the subframe becomes very rigid.

Hi mate, do you have any pics of the engine bay? I'd love too see how you've done the radiator. Also what radiator is it and do you have any cooling problems?

What sort of times are you getting aswell?

0-60?
1/4 mile?

Im struggling too keep my 1380 engine cool at the moment.

I also noticed that you said that you removed the coilovers because they were a hassle, what sort of problems did you have?

Sorry about all the questions, but I want my car too look like yours.

the radiator is mounted to the subframe and an ally bracket to the block, i'm not sure what radiator it is but it came up on e bay a couple of years ago (before the engine was built lol) and apparentley was bought for a miglia but brand new and been in someones shed.. payed 80 quid  on the road it never goes above 60/ 70 and in traffic at london 2 brighton this year it went up to 90 and i put the fan on. it is mega!
i removed the coilovers because the handling is abismall in my opinion compared to rubber cone set up. as were the really wide wheels... looked ace but if i couldn't keep it on the road then wasn't much good having all the power. you cant get enough droop with coilovers and the spring rate is never right unless you source the right springs to go with the corner weight of your car.

went avon park rwyb couple of weeks ago and snapped my output shaft .. before it snapped i ran a 14.3 at only 93 mph .. annoyed as my rear brakes were sticking badly .. at pod a couple of months ago i ran a 14.4 @ 108.9 terminal speed.. sorted rear brakes now so hopefully will be in 13's.
hope that helped mate, rich
