Nice one rich looking good, where are the arches from? i'm after some decent group 2s at the moment. Also is you car road legal? sorry if thats a dumb question, i've just not seen a picture of it with a front no plate yet. The picture makes me want to do a front mounted radiator too. :(

the arches are from huddersfield .. second set i've had and think they're a decent fit :D it is road legal but i hate to put a numberplate on it lol .. it lives on passenger floor and goes in the window for the plod lol

front mounted rad all the way! you should do it .. can tuck them away alot more discreet than mine (metro rad or chiquchento rads are real thin)

Ahh fair enough thats not a bad idea i hate having a no plate on the front too lol, thanks for the info on the arches also.

On the rad idea i'm more than seriously thinking about it, do you mind telling me what the actual size of your rad is so i have something to go by, a mk2 golf rad is another possibility but maybe a bit thick, the most limiting factor really is the alternator really, would you mind getting a picture of the engine bay that would be really helpful?

Cheers rich keep up the good work. :dontgetit:

i've just been helping my mate with his mk2 golf and thought the rad looked to be perfect for a front mount conversion on a mini :dontgetit: my rad is 80mm deep 450mm wide and 270mm high. keeps it cool though lol doesn't reach above 60 on the road and in traffic will only ever get to 80. just tryed to get a picture but its raining :D will sort a photo out at weekend george... off to find your project thread
