the engines reliable, only ever broken it twice .. once at santa pod and once at avon park lol
for the last 2 weeks (when its dry) i'm having to drive it to work and back .. never missed a beat. (i'm missing alot of money due to fuel tho!)

Thats cool, you like to give your mini a good thrashing then lol just got to be done.
i think i will have to keep my eyes open for a 1275 unit, would you recomend either A+ or A
i am unsure on what the differences between them are???

i hope i can build a reliable engine now lol.

i know what you mean about fuel costs my daily runner aint the cheapest

cheers, rick

as far as i know the A+ blocks have the ribs on the block for strength.

yours looks cool, is the engine the next step then?

cheers, rich

thanks, yh its not looking to bad i have some different wheels on it now just some revolution 12x5 with polished lip and white centres,
yeah i think engine is next i got all new suspension to go on aswell nice set of hi lo's and
a full set of spax gas adjustables.

for the engine i was thinking of going the supercharger root but i have heard off so many different people that the power is just wasted and you just cant stop it spinning.

i think i will just end up building a normally aspirated 1380 fast road race just gotta start saving up the pennies lol

cheers, rick

Been lightening my front subframe, but not gone to your extremes, any trouble with MOT?

nope, i did it after my mot. havent noticed any flex or change in handeling .. make sure you weld up all the seams to put a bit of strength back into it. once its bolted to the car i think the subframe becomes very rigid again

cheers, rich
