hiya iv just bought a mini but i dont pick it up till sun and i want to go out and buy sum ht leads but i dont no what 1s 2 buy?

iv got a 1993 mini mayfair 1275cc look at the link and can someone please tell me what 1s i need?

They sell them in Halfords and also have a book which tells you which ones you need ;) Theyre not fancy yellow ones like that though!....

Do you know if the Halfords ones are proper copper leads? or just this modern silicon/carbon type crap?

If your talking about Moss, then this page has the standard HT Leads on it: -

But forget those and get a set of these instead from Mini Spares: -

http://www.minispare.....ILICON FROM...

Part No. HV22 and suitable for all Mini models 1959-2000.

I fitted a set last Summer and their mucking fagic. I can't recommend them enough.

Oh and fit a set of NGK BPR6ES Spark Plugs for maximum reliability.
