Rear Brake Back Plate Bolts?

hi, does anybody know the right size bolts that should hold the back plate on to the radius arms? or can you just put any ones that fit in?

thanks taffy, but for sum reason nothing comes up when i go to the pdf file i want, on there web site. only the price list will come up, dont know why.

*melons* me, how thick are the backplates on your car??!! :-

Correct size is:
1/4" UNF x 5/8" long.
SPanner size is 1/2" AF

5/16 UNF x 1" actually :-

Would recommend using a nyloc nut as well.

I assume we're talking about the nut and bolt combinations which attach the backplate to the radius arm.

My apologies, it is indeed GHF103 at 5/16 UNF x 1" long - I was looking at the front brake backplates by mistake.
I also misread the thread size - all-in-all it was a poor post! :-

Strange, they work okay for me?

Just try loading them one at a time.

AF means accross flats IE 1/2"=5/16" UNF (unified fine) thread............... :D
