Dees any body knows a remedy to tighten the small ball joint in an internal rear view mirror?
I have the mirror which attaches to the roof and have a suction cup to the windshield. It doesn't seem to be too loose, but after driving a few blocks the mirror moves.
I was thinking of putting some kind of sticky liquid in the ball joint, but I don't know what may be best: some type of thick grease? honey?
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Replace the suction cup, perhaps that's the problem here?

Similar problem with mine. Mine is very loose - looks more like a G force meter!
Previous owner had used some unsightly glue on the suction cup and windscreen to hold it in place.
Now the glue has come off, i'm tempted to put a screw straight into the ball joint from behind.
