Liam, the grill is held on with grill buttons, drilled through the front panel to fit them. Makes for easy access to the engine, which right now is all I seem to be doing, lol

I'm going on Friday to do a little work on it, so I'll stick a few photos up off where it's sat for the last year or so.

The roll cage is a show cage, only there for the look of it, to be honest though have been thinking of removing it. Think the car looks too bling bling sometimes lol

Ok, so need to update this more often.

Brought the mini home after over a year sitting in storage and gave it a good wash....

So obviously it was still running like crap, so engine out time.....

7 hours later and I've the engine out and flywheel off, and there was my problem, it was on back to front with the locating washer not fitted properly. Once all fitted and new washer secure, engine back in again and fingers crossed.
I put the ht leads on the correct way, turned the key

So it passed it's MOT last week, though is running very rich, failed emissions at idle but fine when rev'd, any ideas? Next up is to deal with some small finishing pieces then time to enjoy it!!!!

Car is kept at parents home in Co.Armagh, though I'll be bringing it to Scotland soon as I work there.

My my, 2 years have passed, thought I'd throw a few photos up while I'm checking in ;)

And a recent purchase....

So i've had a great 2 weeks driving in it, Scotland and back (400+miles) and around most of N.Ireland in the last 3 days.
But it's time to put it back into storage before I head back over to Australia. :(
I've looked into importing it, but to be honest, it's not worth it. And 1 day I might move back to the UK, who knows.

And I've just noticed most of the photos from the rebuild are missing (recent move from photo bucket to Flickr) but if your reading through this and wanting, just let me know :)
