Thinking of doing this as an engine conversion in a mini its the cvh rs turbo engine because i know someone with one which i could get.

a green one, 14" alloys the engine is in the back...

Although i think that was a 1.9 ford block with an escort RS turbo kit on it?

I think its the 1.6 or 1.8 rs turbo engine out the mk3 or mk4 could it be front mounted in a clubman fronted mini.

anything can be fitted, but I presume there is a good reason why it hasn't been fitted before!

Do you think this is to fast in a mini and grip would be crap the top speed of this engine in a escort is 125mph in a mini maybe 140 or more i dont know.

What sort of bhp does that engine kick out?

This kicks out 136 bhp @ 6000 revs in a escort but woulnt know in a mini. If anyone thinks this is a stupid idea all opinions are welcome.

the rs turbo wasnt the best of engines or the quickest...my 2l tdi astra van could beat a rs turbo up to 120....

I dont want the fastest engine in the world just somethink faster better than an mini engine that can pea all over the chavs at traffic lights with a mini looking ratty.

That or an integra type R engine both would crap on a boy racer!
