What Coil For 1987 Mini?

hi all, just a quick one.

what coil would i need for a standard 1987 998cc mini?

link me one to minispares and i'll be eternally grateful.

If you look at the original, has it got a pink wire with white tracer going to it? if it has you need a ballest coil, if not, then non-ballest.

I'd still check with Mini Spares on suitability though.

Do not use that Lumenition ballasted coil with the ballast that is built into your wiring harness. It must be used with the special Lumenition ballast which means re-wiring your car slightly.

Your car is ballasted.

They also supply K&N filters, we all know that using one will affect the fuelling and fit a new needle to compensate. If it's not a standard part why assume it fits like a standard part?
