Got this inlet manifold to use for a pair of HS4's.

I'd like to know what make and model it is. Internally it has quite a smooth profile, so I don't think its the standard Leyland intake.

Reason I want to know what manifold it is, is so that I can find any CFM ratings on it. If anybody knows any for this manifold let me know. Need to know this as i'm improving the airflow in my carbs and don't want to go furher than the manifold can go.

Thanks,

Kyle.

edit: Please note crumbs on desk, healthy lifestyle and all that.

Alright cheers for that, I think there may be a flow bench in college so I might pop it in.

I know this is an old thread but I have the same manifold. It had a rubbish finish quality on it, but much smaller diameter balance tube, the entries to which seemed to be smashed open rather than machined. The outside of the balance tube seems to have a great big lump cast on, so am uncertain whether it will clear the lcb without to much heat soak. Other than that I've heavily modified it to take my HS6's and to smooth and straighten the runners and balance tube entry. It flows better than a maniflow now, add to that the clean up and removal of useless parts of the casting and then a mirror polish on the outside (only the bits you can see... Can't be arsed with underneath). Well chuffed I can't stop taking photos of it :-) Would be interesting to find out its origins though
