Not sure which ones to get. Has anyone got any reviews / comments about these wheels? Are they good quality? (I am on a budget and know they are not the most expensive around).
Also has anyone got pics of 12x5.5 wheels or 12x6 wheels so I can see how they look and how much they stick out? I want them to look chunky but dont really want to get 13's. Also how much work is involved if i need to do modifications to the car so they don't rub and what do you actually cut away?
Cheers, Jonathan

Have you got any pics of your car, maybe able to alter it to see how they would look ??
Just make sure your arches cover your wheels, as the Law states that the wheels cannot stick out more than the body of the vehicle, so check your arches.
What wheels have you got now ?

Very nice, they are the ones I will probably go for and its nice to see them on a BRG mini as mine is same colour. Are those group 2 arches? Thinking of getting group 2 painted BRG and then chrome edging.just need to trim your wheel arches

Is it easy to cut away the arches so the wheels don't rub or is it something a body shop should do? I have no idea how to do this, what tools do you need? Basically, can a dumb ass like me do it?no these are group 4 arches which are from huddersfield aswell they are new in and fit perfect over the wheels..i love them.m.m lol

the picture below shows 12 by 5.5 with w+p ( white car ) and 12 by 6 with sportspack, which dispells the myth that 12 by 6 wheels look pap with sportspack alloys

Bloody hell, im more confused than ever now. All I want is a nice chunky looking wheel that will not need lots of modifications done and extra money spent on other bits as spare time and money is against me. I do like the 12x6 but they seem to need more work to make them fit. Maybe the 12x5.5's are the way to go?? It's never straight forward. The 12x5.5 with W&P arches looks very nice. How much do places charge to spray arches?the huddersfield wheels have a width of 6 inches, the same as sportspack wheels,so you would be better off getting the template from mini spares for the correct metal cutting req'd,also worth making sure all your suspension is spot on,and install new dampers and/or hi-los so as to maxmise your options,if you go for the minisport wheels they may still rub a tiny bit and you may end up taking some metal off,as for arch choice then group2 will fit the 5.5 width wheels as will w+p arches,as for the wider wheels then sportspack, group 5,group 6 ( can apply chrome strip) to mention but a few

have a go at spraying the arch yourself with some rattle cans from halfords,i couldnt spray either but followed the instructions on he can and a little guidance from TMF turned out really well and alot cheaper
you don have to fork out for new dampers and hi-los,this will just ensure everything is spot on before you go cutting away metal, that you might not need to cut!!
