I am ready to fit my stage 1 minspares kit and it is booked in for thursday for installation.

I want to double check one last thing before then

The new inlet manifold currently has a blanking bolt where the pipe needs to be taken to the servo (as seen in this picture)

I was told to unscrew the fitting from the standard manifold outlet and fit it in to the new mainifold job done servo working

Unfortunately it looks tlike the standard manifold does not have a screw connection rather just what looks like a short plastic tube which has the servo pipe attached

sorry about the picture (the white/yellowed tube can be seen at the bottom of the picture in the centre)

Can this plastic tube be removed and re-fitted to the new inlet or do i need to buy any additional parts before thursday

Thanks

Rob

It should be a black tube running from the front of the servo to the carb, with a banjo fixing.

Probably need a clearer pic to be honest.

Paul.

Not seen anything like that, but looks like something like this would be an idea to fit.

Ah ha exactly what I was hoping for I don't know if it will get to me before thursday morning but I will try.

Yes the picture is poor its just one I had to hand that actually had the pipe accidentally in shot!

With out this fixing though I will not be going anywhere.

just incase anyone else tries to do a similar thing don't bother because I called minispares to order the part mentioned above and they told me it won't fit.

I am going to a plumbing/hydraulics specialist tomorrow to get what I need so stage 1 kit is back on the cards!

Here:
http://www.somerford...nning-gear.html
--> "Brake Controls – 1988 On; Boosters and Servos"

Part n° 96 (2A715), 2x 97 - but the banjo seems not listed... Weird...
Maybe it's an integral part of n° 95 / NAM8568 as it sits very tight on.

Anyways; that's the standard connection servo/ manifold.

[edit]MiniSpares lists 2A715 as banjo bolt for the oilpipe.
But it's the same as the manifold one. Just checked that :)

Wont fit what? The part in the link will fit the minispares stage one manifold with no problems.

Minispares don't think you're trying to join a standard late model servo banjo to the manifold do they? The part linked should be the one you need. The thread was never changed on any of the manifolds to my knowledge.

You can also use that take off an inline valve and some servo hose and connect it to a late servo.
