although make sure you wear proper rubber gloves otherwise you will end up with hands like your great great great grandad
(dry yet still wrinkled)

plus there is not much chance of a plastic scouring pad scratching a metal surface.

Personally I'd be a little concerned about using a wire brush on a drill,especially the cheapo ones.

Well a good wash through with brake cleaner or similar sorts that double S - or a good old blow

guessworks - what kind of dip do you mean??? i.e. what chemical to leave it to soak in?? also do you mean i could do the hole head with this method??
wilson 1275 - i thought a wire brush may be too viscious?, do you mean use brake cleaner as the chemical cleaning agent??
