Guys and Girls its my rolling road today after fitting my stage one kit 6 months ago its finally been set up properly today at aldon. Wish the mini luck! I'll post up the results tonight.

Yeah I kept putting it off, but now its had a full service and the tappets done, it seemed like the right time to have it done.

Hey I'm back and glad I took it in. The needle was very weak so has been changed from the one suppiled with the kit for a AAA needle but the biggest thing changed was the timing when it went in it was 27btdc at idle, 47 max which has now been changed to 11deg at idle 30 deg max.

At the fly its now producing 54bhp and 32 at the wheels and has a very nice torque curve.

As for cost the the tune itself cost 80 plus VAT and the re-needle 10.25 plus the VAT

By far the best bit of it is how much smoother it feels when driving, going to wait for the roads to quieten down and go for a spin up the carriageways so I can put me foot down a bit >_<

they do a good job down at aldon, might take mine in there later in the year and see if there's any improvements to be made.
