Well I don't know what the clearance for the sw5-07 is on standard rockers is, but multiply it by a factor of 1.2, therefore if std it is 14 then with 1.5's it'll 17 thou'

Spoke the garage who built me engine for me this morning...they recommended 16 thou. So wipped the rocker cover off and checked/adjusted the clearances where necessary.

Oh top tip for anyone else wondering how to check each valve gap.....stick the car in 4th gear, jack one of the wheels up off the ground (taking the appropriate safety cautions obviously). With the one wheel off the ground, rotate it and this will cycle the engine allowing each tappet to be adjusted and checked individually.

However, i think this method will only work for car without a limited slip diff......

I stick it in 4th and roll it back and forth... builds up those thigh and calf muscles! LOL!
