Does anyone know of an adaptor bracket to fit a dynamo to an A+ engine? The threaded holes in the block are for an alternator which is shorter. I've rigged up a temporary arrangement with a bolt and back nuts but would rather fit something better.

You have a very interesting situation. All the swaps I've seen go the other direction... putting the long adapter bracket on an early A-series block to allow the shorter alternator to be used.

I don't know of a retro-conversion bracket but how about this....
Could you take the long dynamo to alternator bracket... cut the alternator bolt eye off of it, then flip the block attachment plate over (bottom side up) and weld the alternator eye back on? In theory wouldn't this give you the same offset in reverse that you have with the dynamo to alternator conversion bracket? That should allow you to bolt the bracket onto the A+ block and position the rear eye "back" further to support the dynamo.

I know it's a bit of work but it's all I can think of.
