Help just can't get the thing off.
I have tried and tried to losen the union nuts for the fuel fliter so I can replace it, but they won't budge. Does any one have a top tip or can recomend a product (other than WD40 as I have used half a can) that will ease the nuts.
Thanks

I don't, but I did have a very rusty filter as well, so fitted a Vauxhall filter (identical cannister, but has hose connections rather than screw), and replaced the rusted pipes with flexible fuel hose - no more rust!

Or just replace the hoses and fuel filter all at the same time to save hassle?

I had the same problem a couple of months ago.
I ended up removing the ridged pipe from the flexi pipes, tipped the filter up so the excess fuel drained out and left it to soak in diesel for a day.
Worked for me - might work for you.
If not do as rodtheplod suggested.
