I don't think any Clubman models were ever built with the changeover hinges fitted to round-nose models from '69 - '71 so these should fit all Clubmans without a problem. They work well, I've been using them for years. You just have to be careful not to scratch the body with the bonnet when you refit it. It's easiest if you do it from a low point of view, as in crouch down low and hold the bonnet up to refit it. They are a bit fiddly to get aligned but once you're used to it it's easy enough. They make it so much easier to simply pop the bonnet off to work on the car and servicing is much easier as a result.

Out of interest does anyone know why the roundnose bulkhead retained the Mk 1/2 bonnet hinges for the first year and a half of Mk 3 production? Was it just down to a large overstock of bulkhead pressings?

hi i made my own all you do is remove the studs from the hinge and get some small box section that will slide over the hinge and weld to blots on the box section to bolt it to the bonnet a bit of grease on the hinge and slide the bonnet on it will open fine as normal and slide off when needed
