What Kit Is Better? For Vtec Conversion

looking at the vtec conversion kits and there both about the same price from watson rally and allspeed i was just wondering what other people have used and which kit would you lot recomend using?

I went for the allspeed as it keeps mini suspension and steering and looks neater in my eyes

hhmmmmm i have a b16 and a mini :cry:
does anybody know the price for a complete conversion
and by complete i mean absolutely everything including getting it rolling roaded and how many hours labour it would be
considering i dont have access to a ramp.

You cant give a set price mate, as it all depends on what you want, how cheap you can get bits and what you can do your self.

I went for the allspeed as it keeps mini suspension and steering and looks neater in my eyes


The Miglia racer Bill Sollis has often said in his Minifilms DVD track tests, that the Watsons Vtec Mini's lose much of the Mini steering/handling feel due to the use of the Metro subframe and front suspension components.

IIRC he also said that one of the Watsons framed Vtecs would be his choice for the drive home. Just 'because it feels different does not make it worse :lol:
