Taken Straight from the Silver Ring Rally Website

The Silver Ring Rally is a mini (classic and BMW) Event that travels from Silverstone UK to the Nurburgring in Germany over a long weekend. We have laps of each Track, Large Campfire and Party where we are joined by lots of German Mini Folk, Runs out in the Countryside.
In fact we have something to tick everybodys box!
Silver Ring Rally 2009 Run date: 23-28 July 2009
Silver Ring Rally 2009 will visit 4 or more GP tracks!
Silver Ring Rally 2009 will have laps on 2 or more of these tracks
Silver Ring Rally 2009 has confirmed 30mins Track time at the Nurburgring
Silver Ring Rally 2009 we will be finishing at Brands Hatch!

Silver Ring Rally '08 took 50! minis from Silverstone UK to the Nurburgring Germany
Silver Ring Rally '08 had 2 mini only parade laps of the Nurburgring, including a complete drive through lap. This had never been done before!
Silver Ring Rally '07 was the largest family Classic mini event to the Nurburgring , that was featured over 4 pages in MiniMag!
Silver Ring Rally '07 we also had TWO Parade laps of SPA Francorchamps GP race track!

Anybody on here going?

Absolutely ..... The SRR suits me as I take my lad who is of school age, so the BH2N run does not work for me regretably..

I wasnt sure, I dont get on the forums much at the moment to see whats going on and I havent heard much of this run before because it sold out last year and the one before but I know my sister said there was a classic car run and a mini run.
Is the the run that RED sarah did last year? Shes the lady from Skegness who I met at Stanford.

Last year it was limited to 50 cars, I meet one of the organisers a few days ago and then it was 60% booked. I presume that was based on the 50 car limit from last year, but I see no reason why that could not increased, but I am not involved with the organisation, suggest you E mail the organisers .
