ok, im not too sure where to put this, i didnt think the "for sale" sections as theyre not actually up for sale yet im just wondering if its worth me selling my two mini's or doing some work to them and keeping/selling them

i origionally bought a white D reg 998 mayfair, MOT'd and tax'd so fully road worthy but i had plans to change the engine to something with a bit more power, thats where the cooper comes in, a 1.3 engine would have been plenty as its only my first car on the road as such, so i ended up buying an almost complete cooper, body wise its missing two front wings and id say the interior isnt great either as its non existant :)

the plan was for it to be a father - son projects spending alot of time together making me a really nice mini out the two using the cooper as a donor car for all the running gear etc. however time is a real issue and it means im unable to spend any time on the car whatsoever.

i would like to know what id get for the two if i were to sell them, (brand new rear subby if that makes much difference) i think id sell it as an unfinnished project and get rid of the lot together saving me alot of time and hassle

im hoping getting my money back wont be a problem as i got them fairly cheap

sorry if it doesnt make much sense, im tired

Without knowing the exact condition of the vehicles it's hard to estimate.

Assuming the Mayfair is in good condition you'd probably make the money from that one, especially if it's ready to go without any work, then the Cooper I'm not sure whether to sell with the Mayfair, or sell it seperately on ebay, (with a reserve of whatever you paid for it).

i was lucky enough to have both of them come into my hands for £300. the mayfair can be made road worthy for no money, its just had a re-furbed rear subby. new rear valance to be fitted, generally in 'ok' condition i think ill stick them on ebay seperatley with a low reserve

Good move, you may get just over £500 for the Mayfair, (or more, make sure it's clean and got good pics).

Cooper a couple of hundred quid just for the engine, again clean with good pics, and lots of details.
