i need 2 new tyres for my alloys, the current tyres are 165/60/r12 and i have 1 new yoko and 1 new falcon and am looking for one of each again. was wondering if anyone knows of either a mail order company (as i can get them fitted at work) or a local company in norfolk that can do them cheaper than £60 per yoko or £50 per falcon?

Yoko £94.52 for 2 delivered

Can't vouch for them though, never used them

www.mytyres.co.uk

Falken £37.50
Yokohama A539 £49.40

They send you the tyres and you get them fitted.
They also have a list of fitting centres.

Nothing wrong with Falkens. Mate has a Saab Turbo convertible (aka a heavyweight tyre chewer) and apparently they are highly rated on the saab forums. My cooper has falkens and they seem sticky enough - can't comment on how they last because I don't do many miles.

camskill do falken for £32.90, they don't list yoko's but it would be worth ringing them

don't bother with blackcircles, 99% of the time you can get tyres cheaper from either camskill or mytyres

I'm happy with my falkens (165/60/r12)...

I wasn't too happy with the older directional Falcon 165/60x12 tyres, but my Mini now has a full set of the new type asymmetric Falcon 165/60x12 and they stick like poo to a blanket.

The old type Falcons did last a long time though, so I'm hoping these will too even though their a vast improvement.

Get your Yokos from Mini Spares for £50, and if you're a TMF+ member you'll get 7.5% off that price... beat that, Black circle.
