hi all,

thought id start a wee thread, nothing special, just *peeing* about really getting to know the A series.

anyway i drive a '88 Mayfair, zeemax kitted and blended, 13x7 golds with polished rim.
been upgrading alot of parts recently, but nevr thought of taking any pics :(
things like brakes drilled n grooved green stuff pads etc.

so on with the show, decided to get the resprayed in june there as it needed a freshen up. (b'day pressie from mrs!)
1 of the arches had cracked an the rust had set in as it does! pics are limited as i was away on a cruise and it was her wee brother that took them, but ill post them anyway. wing got treated, and the bodykit was re-done with liquid plastic and a light skim of filler (we dont want too much of that stuff now!)

sorry for the crapy pics, they were took on the phone!
cant find the pics of the respray only the finished product

after the spray we were on the road again, but i got bored with the 70 ish bhp the 1275 was givin me, and had a fool notion of a turbo. so after a long time hunting i found myself a rebuilt metro unit in very good nick. give it a strip down to check components etc and replaced the essentials, then it was off to work on the rebiuld and body mods.

les chat more pics i think!

alot of my pics are missing for sum reason, so ill post what ive got for now!

couple of pics of the components an what not before they were all stripped an that,

like i say its nothing special, but its my 1st attempt. lol

intercooler pipes need to be cut an positioned properly, but cant really do that till the engine is in.

still lots of parts to come yet, waitin on the rocker cover, t-bars, oil cooler an a few other bits n bobs!
